Pre-Hong Kong: At the Seattle airportDAY 1: Tsim Sha Tsui & Hong Kong IslandBreakfast at the Australian Dairy Company, a cha chaan teng that serves British-influenced Hong Kong style breakfast. The "Morning Special" which only costs $36HKD (~$6 USD) consisted of a bowl of macaroni with ham, 2 scrambled eggs, and a slice of buttered crustless toast- served with a cup of Hong Kong styled milk tea. Yum! :) Victoria Harbour- daytime skyline of Hong Kong. I really like this landscape of HK because it shows the contrast between the urban skyscrapers and the mountainous region in the background. Many people often picture Hong Kong as a bustling city, but over half of the city's land is actually preserved land and islands. Dinner @ Ichiran, a Japanese ramen place. It's a great place for eating solo or if you're feeling introverted. There is no need for human interaction until you reach the cashier. From what I understand, there's a significant portion of people in Japan who eat out alone so this setup as a dining experience was pretty cool. Nighttime Holiday Decorations- Tsim Sha Tsui
